Different Types of Vinyl Tiles

-Self-adhesive vinyl tiles are a peel-and-stick product, making them ideally suited for do-it-yourselfers.  The self-adhesive tiling does not require glue and is easy to install, since the reverse of these tiling have an adhesive covered with a layer of paper that can be taken off. You can remove the paper and glue the tiling to the floor.

Steps to follow in the placement of Vinyl Tiles

The vinyl tiles installation require certain materials: a large square, tape measure, a scraper, a cutter and glue. The floor must meet certain requirements so that we can set the vinyl tiles: must be healthy and firm, without cracks or loose tiles, must be flat and smooth.

Once the room is cleaned, do the following:

Place the first vinyl tile in the center of the room. Aid yourself with a squad since it will help you to place the tile in the proper place and totally straight. Then mark on the floor the shape of the tile with a pen. With a scraper, apply the mounting tail very well extended and place the tile on top of it.

Continue gluing the tiles, but be very careful to not leave any holes or spaces between them. It is also important to avoid any bubbles while placing them and of course, you should never step on them since you will run the risk of disposition them or reduce them from their original place.

When you reach to the wall, you must cut the vinyl tile using a special cutter for it.
